The concluding ceremony of the Second Language Sinhala Course (100 hours) conducted for school students under the financial allocation of the previous year by the Secretariat for National Unity and Reconciliation, operating under the Ministry of Justice and National Integration, was held on 20 January 2026 at the Divisional Secretariat Auditorium, under the coordination of the Irikamam Divisional Secretariat.The concluding ceremony of the Second Language Sinhala Course (100 hours) conducted for school students under the financial allocation of the previous year by the Secretariat for National Unity and Reconciliation, operating under the Ministry of Justice and National Integration, was held on 20 January 2026 at the Divisional Secretariat Auditorium, under the coordination of the Irakkamam Divisional Secretariat.
The event was attended by Divisional Secretary Mr. M. S. M. Rassaan, Assistant Divisional Secretary Ms. N. F. Ayma, Administrative Officer Mr. I. L. M. Razaak, Accountant Mr. M.R Naseemul Haq, school principals, course resource person Mr. A. M. M. Mujeeb, and National Unity Development Officer Ms. M. L. Rinoza, among others.
During the ceremony, Second Language Sinhala textbooks were distributed to selected schools, and certificates were awarded to the students who successfully completed the course.
The programme aimed to enhance second language proficiency among school students and to promote national unity and reconciliation through language learning.
